Graduation and Expanding My Horizons

I graduated from high school in 1999, took a year off, and attended college to earn my business diploma. These were some of the most fun years of my life—exploring my independence, falling in young love, and building lifelong friendships. In 2004, I moved out on my own to Vancouver, where I moved frequently and held a handful of jobs that barely paid the bills. I returned home in 2006, and within a few years, I established a solid career path, owned a house, and got married.

Family, Growth & Modern Journey

In 2012, my daughter Jordana was born—my first and only child, and the best thing to ever happen to me. It has been so much fun watching her grow and develop into such a wonderful person. In 2017, I separated from her mom, and Jordana and I moved into a condo. In 2020, as the world shut down, I met my partner, Amy. Together with her two cats and Jordana, we bought a house and built a home. In 2024, after nearly 15 years working at the same company, I was impacted by a global restructuring. This unexpected transition gave me precious time to spend my last days with my dad, who passed away in August 2024, and to help rehabilitate my mom. After living with us for six months, she is now settled in a care home where she can get the support she needs. What's next? Stay tuned!
